Wow Brett!!! I friend of mine is looking for works (of his friends watchers) to critique. I came looking for something of yours and this sure caught my eye! I know it's not marked "critique requested" but I know you don't mind substantive comments on your work, so I may give him this one anyway...

I sure do LOVE it!! Great work! (But then I've always been a fan of fog.)

I know right? My best friend's neighbour (uncle and aunt) lost their home, and my best friend was fighting the fires from inside their house - it was the cliched miracle they survived, it was scary. I was in hospital at the time, and watching the news just shocked me. And yeah, about a week later, the paddocks were green once mroe, just like nothing happened.

It was amazing how quickly the paddocks greened up again. We evacuated one night, but were otherwise not really affected by the fires nearby. I have recently been involved in a fair amount of work from the rebuilding process on a number of properties.

Thanks Kenny. Nearly missed it. Took 3 bracketed exposures, but the colour had already gone for the last 2.

I processed the RAW file with a little fill light. Fortunately the exposure was fairly decent considering I accidently left the aperture really small after some macro shots so the 30sec exposure should have been longer really. A very rushed shot after quickly stopping the car when I saw this.
