Description The 2009 Black Saturday bushfires along this section of Lady Talbot Drive near Marysville were so hot much of the forest has to regrow completely as even the Eucalyptus trees were killed.
The predominant species at this stage is Silver Wattle(Acacia Dealbata), gum tree saplings are currently smaller than the wattles. Many of the treeferns survived the intense fires though.

Thanks David. I love the area, and find it very interesting to watch it recover from the fires, although much of it is not as picturesque as it once was.
