Thanks for the faves Karen. The weather has been too lousy for new shots.
Did the camera come back OK?

Yes, and it was fine nothing wrong with it. It was one of my lens, so now that has to be sent off. I am so dumb sometimes!!
We had a beautiful hot day here today. I took a few shot with the other lens today but the broken one is my fav.
Is is rainy down your way?

Has been wet and windy for nearly 2 weeks.
I have had a Canon 50mm EF 1.8f lens cause my camera shutter not to work and had it replaced under warranty.

I wish we could have a bit of your rain. It has been sunny and hot for quite a while.

I didn't think you would have said that a few months ago. We still need a lot to make any difference, it is more of a nuisance than anything really. At least it is not preventing me from working too much.

We have had plenty, mostly wind and hail. My poor retriever has nearly gone insane, and so have I worrying about her when I'm at work.

It is not fair on dogs. I wish that it didn't upset them so much. I love the lightning and thunder but I don't know about the hail, it would wreck Dad's nursery as it is nearby. I remember you saying that your retriever hurt herself quite badly during a recent storm. Not nice.

She is a real worry. Has taken off again twice recently although she is being drugged to calm her. Currently seeing a dog trainer pretty much as a last resort.

Apparently we need to address Maddison's 'separation anxiety' first. Have spent today brushing her away when she demands attention, at least she is a quick learner. Not convinced it will help with her fear of storms though.

The 'clomicalm?' drugs are starting to slowly work now after 2 weeks I think. The other night we let her out with a bone. One minute she was eating, the next she was gone. Caused 2 cars to skid to a stop before getting picked up by someone and taken home a few streets away. Fortunately I went out to feed her and after realizing she had gone under the fence I heard the dogs in the next street bark so I knew which direction to walk. I was then directed to the right house by someone who saw it.

She is a devil. My Tessa just used to run around the yard barking and chasing the storm. She could never get out. That is a real worry, particularly with her getting on the road. I am glad she was alright. No wonder you stress out about her.

I keep her in a cyclone wire cage in my garage during the day now, but she sometimes gets through the wire and opens my locked roller door if she does. I can lock the roller door better but she will destroy it. It already has teeth marks in the corrugations from previous escapes. When she gets scared there is no stopping her unless we are home to comfort her. (Which we are told not to do either)

Yes, you said that last time she hurt herself on the wire and there was blood everywhere. Not good.

I really don't know which I like better.
