Description
I made 2 minor updates to 'Discovery --Unfinished--". All id did was add bubble-like things in the embryo sac thingamajigger and some wierd shapes on the ambilical chord and flowers at the bottom. Sorry... a little got cut off on the bottom.
This is an assignment for my AP Studio art class. We had to choose an event in our lives that gave us inspiration. I chose something as simple as birth. Also, we had to imitate the well-known artist, Peter Max's style with hard lines, basic shapes, and bold, solid colors (haven't gotten that far yet). So far, I have drawn out the design and boldened the lines with black sharpie, so now all i need to do is paint it.
The night represents what the child was living in before the child was delivered. The sun represents what the child discovered once it had been born. You may have noticed that the line extending from the back of the child's head creates another section in the lower left. This represents all that the child has discovered since bing born. The child has seen the ocean, cities, forrests and more. The ambilical chord on the developing baby represents growth, supported by the leaves and flowers extending from it.
Like? Dislike? opinions on what the final product should have? ANYTHING?
here are links to some of Peter Max's art if you haven't seen any of it yet.
