This was a long and gruelling process to complete. it is a self portrait of me laying on my arm. My hand being very close to the 'camera' on the left. Once I drew the basic lines and transferred it to the canvas, I had to paint the lighter (not lightest) areas with yellow. Then came the red (one step darker), then came the blue (another step darker). we then had to mix the red and blue to create a very dark purple-almost black for the darkest areas. Then we had to dribble wall paint of different colors over the whole thing to give it a sense of 'randomization' and texture. once again, the lighter colors generally went over the lighter areas, but were still spread among the entire thing. It progressed to about 5 (I think) colors of wall paint. I then had to pixelate it, bigger pixels being in the closer areas for a greater sense of depth. I had to paint the pixels many different shades and colors. I thought the effort wasn't worth the product, quite honestly.
