If you can't fit the whole name in the title, you'll definitely be dead before you can say it.Anyhow, a small update of my progress on my 3DMG (or omni-directional mobility device, if we're going with the dub) Both handles are pretty much done, though one still needs painting, and I've got a little over two of the three motors completed (my first one was at home and not in my work space, so you only get the two newer ones >.>)
Not really any material updates for this one, but enjoy the progress (I know I am)!

Well, it's plywood (the kind they make model airplanes out of), so it's not AS heavy as it would be if I made it out of, say, metal... But that's me just trying to see the bright side of it ;;>.> It's not too heavy to be usable, though.
Well... maybe you can modify the ones you have to better suit how you want them? I mean, you've cut them out already, so salvage what you can of the work you already did.
I am *hoping* to have them all done for a convention on may 16th, and assuming they are, I will definitely have a few pictures of the completed costumes (The work's been split up between three of us; all I have to do is make the props.), and if not, you'll get to see them whenever it IS done.

I sure know that I will probably keep the handles for the blades and the gaz bottles because I like them >_<

It doesn't have to be... I'm making these for much less than the two-to-four hundred dollars they sell 3dmg for. Sure it's a lot of work, but I enjoy doing it.

Personally I don't know how to sew so I had to buy the clothes and all T^T' (I need to learn how to sew....like really...)
and same, it's INCREDIBLE how expenssive they sell the 3D MG o_o like the boots, omg, those are just BOOTS o_o' I don't know, it's...sometimes really stupidly over priced? Idk
nothing is better than feeling the happiness of actually DOING it ourselves <3 it's just like..."yeah, I did it !!"

I can hand-sew, but it takes forever; luckily I'm not in charge of any sewing xP
But it all is quite expensive; we bought different boots than the ones they sell for it (I liked them better anyway), the harness has to be custom made to work with my gear anyway. I just bought white jeans for the pants, and the jackets, cloaks and my shirt are delegated to others in the group... It really needs to be a group effort, I think.
Dunno if I'll get to France ever, but maybe xP
