And in other news, I still can't figure out how to scan a colored-pencil picture and make it look good. I've got another pony picture on the way. hopefully it'll turn out better than this

Well, Unicorns are supposed to have more pointed, elegant features, (slanted eyes, cloven hooves, thinner bodies ect) so that explains the shape of the eyes. And I'm not quite sure why I did so, but Alicorns (at least when I draw them in this style) tend to have lenticular pupils. I guess it sets them apart from normal ponies? I don't know

No, I haven't heard of such a rule. However, Bronies are a pretty large fanbase, so it's hardly unlikely that the more popular ones, such as KaijuSamurai, are among their numbers. Also, I haven't touched ponies either. they are cartoons, and I can't put my hand through the screen XD

Much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed the pic. When I say that it's bad, what I mean is that I was frustrated that I failed to find a way to make it look as good as the original paper copy (my scanner is temperamental) and also the fact that I failed to make a background
although, for the sake of understanding, I'd assume you meant "designs" rather than "dishing"
