The picture CLEARLY expresses the OBVIOUS need for everyone to play more Katamari Damacy.
I mean, DUH.
It is my opinion that most art is just art, just like most books are just books. You can force as much meaning into it as you want after it's been finished, but sometimes it's just what happened when the creator of a piece put their pen to the paper. So I try not to think about it too hard, and just see it for what is presented to me.

And Katamari Damacy is a game that is increadibly addictive and whose target audience should have been gay stoners, but is really just for people who like to roll balls around and hear digital people scream when you squash them. Annnnnyway, one of the reasons that I said that more people should play Katamari Damacy was the message, was because one of the presents that you can get from the Kings of the Cosmos is a big giraffe hat, and the giraffe head reminded it.

First of all...I would just like to let you know, that I love animal heads on human bodies. Especially human bodies in suits. It's just so freaking awesome. xD Second of all...Four fingers? Or four fingers and a thumb? Seems like the latter, but I'm not sure.
It's like Pinnochio. Except, it isn't every time you lie or your nose - it's every time you learn something new, and your neck. Every time you learn something new, you get a more "full" view of the world, you can see more from up high, so I guess if you learn enough you'd see the whole world, and how much it sucks.

*sorry if i posted two the first didn't show up* i think its a man whos disconnected and wants to use the girafes long neck to get close to the telephone pole *which represents communication* but thats just my take. anyway its a beautiful drawing/watercolor

I think he has that song stuck in his head. You know the one..

..or something to that extent. I really enjoy the warped perspective on the telephone wires, and the contrast between the frantic way the body is behaving and the oblivious-yet-peacefull look of the giraffehead.

one more idea: (the giraffe in the pic is using telepathy) that earth giraffes are descendants of an alien people which live far away. one day, when these more inteligent, alien giraffe people land on earth, they will erradicate the need to communicate in conventional ways because of their use of telepathy.

the way it is drawn, it looks like the giraffe's head is stuck on over a businessman's head (tie at top is covered by the giraffe neck) so maybe the giraffe head is a mask that the corporate asshole uses while communicating unpopular ideas to shield his identity and make him more loveable so that you will buy his product ie in commercials. so the message is "commercials brainwash you with their cute fuckoff mascots". thats as far as i can run in that direction. just a guess, but not even really my true guess which would ruin the whole game. someone take my idea and run with it!

I think it means that people are always sticking their necks into things that they shouldn't belong. Such as eavesdropping into other people's conversations, or telling a person how to act/dress. This guy represents such people, as he is in a suit conforming to be like others. Just b/c he has a neck/head of a girraffe doesn't make him different, the neck could represent tons of things.

well, in terms of communication, my two cents would be that he can see above what we're fed by the media (or whatever source) and find a greater meaning in terms of wholistic, unbiased view.
The hearts are interesting, if they're really hearts. Maybe it represents appreciation and gratitude for this new insight and perspective.
The suit would go back to the media/biased source thing, in terms of being a "suit" where you're told what to do/be. He's grown above this, "out of it" and found his own voice.

It seems to me that his hands are in a questioning gesture, like he just found out that the had a giraffe head. Perhaps he has been something different for a long time than what he thinks he is, and doesn't know it?
