Description I've ben wanting to draw Misha properly from this picture for a long time. I tried it once before, very rushed, for a friend's birthday card... but it didn't do it justice.

My proportions are still just not right. But at least it looks a bit like him! And i tried harder with the hair. God, i hate drawing hair.

Drawn in pencil and enhanced a bit in Photoshop (high/lowlights).

Oh wow, thanks hun! Well, I kinda just sucked less and less the more I drew (I still think my proportions/likeness could do with work.. ) so keep drawing - practice is everything!

I dunno, it gets hard to tell after staring at it for so long. Looking back at the reference photo i don't think they are all that much bigger. But i have been known to accidentally make my realistic eyes a bit too big, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Thank you!! Yeah, its good to take a break from my cartoons every once in a while - they don't really challenge me all that much artistically.

Thanks so much!! Its getting closer to looking like him every time i draw him. There's still something a bit off - i'm still pleased with it, but its worth practicing!

OMG... HAIR! evil stuff. There must be an easier way of doing it...lol maybe i'll look up some tutorials!
