Okay so this was probably my most ambitious costume yet. My friends Chris and Mike convinced me to go to the premiere of Madoka Magica at Otakon 2011 even though to be honest, I wasn't all that interested because I could care less about anime in general. SOOOO wrong, I loved it, it was like all sorts of fucked and Chris and Mike were taking bets on who I'd cosplay. Chris won.Without being spoilery or too personal, I identify with this character a LOT. This became a therapeutic costume for me and I pretty much lived and breathed it for 1.5 months. I'm immensely proud of it. Side note: the flags on the top are 3/5 Martha Stewart food picks, 2/5 Archer Farms apple label flags lol).

Now you just need the heart-making fin and the throne.

I actually opted not to do the fin as a heart-making fin so I had some mobility, as much as I would have loved to. And I do plan to do the throne as a backpiece, I didn't get to finish it for this convention.
