I don't think I'll ever go back to watercolors. I love the way Gouache dries!!!
I wish there was a button on the scanner that just says "JUST FREAKIN MAKE THE COLORS MATCH REAL LIFE"
These are 3" x 6" each. They're kind of my personal ACEO size because they fit perfectly in my envelopes.
These are examples of my 6" gouache commissions. But I'll only charge $1 shipping if they're only 3" wide because they'll fit in a normal envelope.

I can if you like! I'd have to scan them again, because they are really wrinkly in this one. But I certainly can! I think other people would be interested too.

I'm redoing my room and wanted some things for my wall so I asked you and one other artist to make prints of my favorite works but like... man. That winter kestrel might end up on my wall too. I'm very partial to kestrels and winter ;; My room is red x dark purple-brown x tan with a smidge of black as well so I'm going crazy. Not even done painting the walls and I'm in mad decoration mode x)Β

I have the same problem with the scanner not picking up real life colors, even if I use the professional machines they had when I was in university art classes. You can get some of the color back into your art by adjusting the brightness/contrast and the saturation. Most art/painting programs have this and so does gimp (free art program off the net).

yeah I do play with the levels quite a bit, but it never measures up. Plus it's a giant pain in the butt.
