This is one of my favorite looks for Spock. This whole episode(Patterns of Force, I believe) shows our favorite Vulcan's condescending 'kiss my ass' attitude.In fact, I think I love every episode where Spock's ears end up giving the landing party away. Why do the bad guys have such a big thing against hats?
EDIT: This was originally called "The Big Giveaway," but as you can see, it evolved a bit.

Oh no, they recognize it, then their awesomeness servos overload and they end up involuntarily disconnecting their thought processors....they just can't deal with how inadequate they are in the face of such pure sexiness. And the messy hair does not help the matter. Not at all.

I know! I absolutely adore it whenever Spock gets attitude with people. That whole episode was rife with deliciously condescending sarcasm. Almost like 'Yeah, my ears are pointed, but you're an idiot. I think I got the better deal.'
