Description Slowly working through backlogged projects. Today being Sunday I didn't sew, I painted and ponied. I finished my first merpony today! She came out kind of awesome. She was for a swap, and my partner wanted a goldfish pony. I was happy to oblige.

I had a time getting a photo that dealt with the white and orange. Anything that made the detailing on the orange show made the white flat, and anything that wasn't flat white lost all the nice work I put into the orange.

I love her eyes. They're all wide and fish-like. XD

would you want to be half pony half fish?

Uh. I don't personally want to be all pony either, but that doesn't mean that being a pony is painful.

no i mean, horses breath air right, and fish need water, these two parts really don't fit together, and realistically it would kind of hurt; being a pony wouldn't hurt, but being a hybrid might not go down as well.

I think you're over thinking this quite a bit. It's a mythical creature, not a real animal.

Yes, I cut the back legs off. They wouldn't fit in there otherwise.

I don't do hair styling. The person who gets her can if she wants. Glad you like it though!

Aww. That's cute.

Do they actually make merponies, or did you have to sculpt the rear end of this yourself?

Ooops, I missed your question (hazards of replying right before bed.

Anyhow... yes, I did sculpt the rear end myself. The make seaponies, but they don't look anything at all like this. They look more like seahorses. [link]
