Description This was a quick sketch that I coloured. I wanted to push my comfort level with my markers and put more colour down than I usually do. Originally I was going to draw her in her plug suit, but I changed my mind and gave her a wittle bikini so I could draw tan lines. I wish I'd let the pale skin tone dry more before laying down the tan colour, they kinda blended together more than I wanted.

Awww this is so cute! I love the pose, it has so much character and personality to it! Her bikini is cute and I like how shes playing with her hair I'm a little sad there is no gorgeous beachy background though ;_;

Thanks! I'm glad to hear that you can see more personality in it, I've been trying to push myself to make that more apparent in my pictures. Usually I draw pretty dry looking characters. In time I'll go back and add a background, maybe with more characters in it too. Yah, definately more characters! I'm beginning to picture it now.

Wow, excellent color job! The skin looks really good, especially all the variations in tone, and the tan lines worked out great. Really nice pose too.

I really believe it's the type of markers you have and the order you lay them down. And the amount of colours you have at your disposal. The more colours, the smoother the end result is. I started learning with a tutorial by
