The Salamander Prince inhabiting a mortal form. His real form is more lizard-like.

Kyros is the only (living) son of Nikanor fav.me/da7h2tv and the younger brother of Ligeia fav.me/d9tj2kc and Kallisto. fav.me/d9u3wrc His mother is the current consort of Nikanor, Hypatia.
Since Salamander culture is strictly patriarchal, Kyros is set to be the next ruler of his people.
His father is less than pleased. and feels that at least twenty of his one-hundred daughters would make better rulers than him.
Kyros is charismatic, intelligent, and devious. These things do not make him a poor leader.
His boundless arrogance and uncompromising pride, however, does. His selfish pursuit of pleasure is characteristic of his kind, but some kind of restraint is needed of a future leader.
He is currently serving a hundred-year banishment sentence for his failed assassination of his father.
The punishment is not for trying to kill him, but for half-assing it.
