What the NightLighters do for the communities scattered across Atlas, the Seafarers do for the oceans; a ragtag crew of pirates who also happen to be superheroes, their job is to defend Atlas’s coastal settlements from the pirates and monsters closing in on Atlas’s mainland. Aboard their galleon Silent Sunrise, they patrol the big blue seas in their quest to stop villains, map out the world... and steal all the treasure they can carry.

Now if they could just stop fighting and arguing over everything, it would work out perfectly.

The Seafarers consist of (From left to right):
Sullivan Wilkinson/Davy Jones: The captain of the Silent Sunrise and leader of the team. Crazy grandpa who loves telling stories and a loving father figure to his crew. The team remains exceptionally loyal to him despite their arguments. Emulates sailors who’ve died at sea.
Ethan Maguire/Depth Charge: The second-in-command. Devoted and loyal, but short-tempered and ruthless. Don’t fuck with his hair. Emulates torpedoes and mines.
Brooke Feldstein/Kraken’s Widow: Sinfully gorgeous femme fatale with a celebrity background. Half-octopus. Somewhat stuck-up but means well. Easily the sanest one on the team. Emulates kraken attacks on ships.
Cade Vanderbilt/Leviathan: Gentle-hearted ex-supervillain and team muscle. Can’t speak. Dragged a city to the bottom of the sea and took thousands of lives with him, refuses to forgive himself for it. Has a fierce enmity with fellow crewmate Maelstrom. Emulates miscellaneous sea monsters.
Dylan and Christopher Bruso/Flotsam and Jetsam: A pair of twins, pathologically incapable of NOT pranking anyone. Always seen together; one tends to go lethargic when the other is separated from him. The Seafarers with the highest number of destroyed ships. Emulate shipwrecks.
Marcie Gordon/Siren: A mermaid and ex-convict. Violent, unhinged, and most likely to tear someone’s head off. Slowly learning to trust her teammates, and has fallen in love with Bilge. Emulates the myth of sirens.
Gideon Levi/Bilge: Eccentric crackpot inventor and team doctor. His gadgets tend to blow up in his face. The kindest member of the team, and the one who keeps them together. Aware of Siren’s love for him, doesn’t know what to do about it. Emulates rust and decay eating away at hulls and wharfs, causing damage over time.
Silas Steinberg/Maelstrom: A cook and Bilge’s workshop partner. Extremely high-strung and paranoid, obsessed with cleanliness. Despises and distrusts crewmate Leviathan for his supervillain past, though something to do with the city Leviathan destroyed may have something to do with it. Emulates the myth of giant whirlpools devouring ships.
Wanda Bryant/Rockweed: A painfully shy girl with social anxiety. Tends to hide in her cabin, you may never see her at all. Slowly coming out of her shell with the help of her fellow crewmate Man-O-War, with whom she shares a close father-daughter bond with. Emulates the feeling of seaweed wrapping around your leg.
Arthur Stokes/Man-O-War: A former bounty hunter and mercenary. Half-jellyfish. Loud, jolly, and goes out of his way to break rules, but genuinely cares for his team. Has a close father-daughter bond with Rockweed. Emulates the Stingsilk, a dangerous aquatic creature lurking in the seas of Atlas.
Tor'Ah Krystlótt/Glaciation: The ship’s boatswain. A workaholic with OCD who strongly adheres to organized logic. Has poor relationships with the rest of her team, and wishes to improve them. Tends to find herself caught in the middle of Leviathan and Maelstrom’s fights. Emulates the threat of ships getting caught in the ice.
289 unnamed others: The Silent Sunrise is a massive ship, and her crew is far larger than the group of bickering people above. Some of them are Paradigms, others are just normal people serving as members of the crew. But superpowers or not, serving on the Silent Sunrise ensures you’re as much of a Seafarer as anyone else is.
