Source audio: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_y4DbZβ¦Finally...FINALLY learned how to make a preloader with buttons in Flash. ...Not a very pretty one mind you, but it's at the very least functional. (I hope.)
Anyway... This was my final for a 2D animation course I took over the past semester. The teachings emphasized more on tweening and understanding the use of puppets and such.
I made the dumb-ass decision to try and make my final traditional, which as you will see, didn't get to finish in its entirety. Of which at this point I would like to extend an apology to my previous misunderstanding and lack of respect of other forms of 2D non-traditional digital animation...as futile as it may be at this point.
Nonetheless I know I have a lot of work ahead of me if I plan to do any more of these kinds of things. For the mean time, please attempt to enjoy my first lip sync animation.

Ahahaha, I freakin' love it! The head movements, the expressions, the lip sync all look really good, and even though certain hand transitions could be a bit smoother, they still work just 'cause they're drawn so well. You also chose your source audio well.
Fantastic job! I can tell how much effort you put into this and it paid off. I hope you do eventually make more of these!

Β |D Oh no definitely, the hands were the last thing in there (like...4-hours before it was due I think lol)--- and my brain was attempting to work around "okay... what's going to work and will I be functional enough to drive to class?" (this was after the over-time done on my other final lol- but sleep was had).
But yeah, it would've helped if I had drawn more hands to make some parts less choppy and obvious. ... /D also my cubes because they're terrible lol.
I wish I could've kept the jaw movements all the way through but alas, more for the future~

and you did the animation very well. it's very.... 'fluid'. well I can't find a good word XD well I mean it's very well animated and you did all his faces very well. nice job! XD
