Reminds me of Daniel Jackson from Stargate SG-1
I really like the texture of his hair and folded shirt round his shoulder, but I can't figure out where the title comes from? I'm guessing from the pose he's hurt his arm, or is it more of an emtional pain (the blue tones)?

"guitar player" was the first thing I thought when I looked at the fingers, too.
I (as opposed to churant) think the hand is about the right size. I don't really get the title, but the picture's really well done.
