Um, wow. I honestly don't know what to think about this since this is actually my character and design. Mydian used my drow character's design to make her doll without asking to use the design beforehand. www.elfwood.com/art/p/o/pookab…
(The one she linked to was an identity thief who stole some very old versions of my art from Elfwood and tried to pose as me on deviantart.)
It's oddly in the category of I didn't know that she used my character for a doll, I didn't mind that too much (Mi'ri'lil was flattered that another drow liked her clothing designs so much - the character is a bit of a seamstress and designer) but I'm not sure what I think of full done pictures of my character's design being claimed without permission by somebody else. O.o

Thank you so much. I'm so sorry that this had to be done in the first place. Oddly it's the second time I've had somebody directly copy a character design of mine to have other artists make pictures of my character for them - all the while the first person taking credit for my character.

Congrats on her left hand, that came out awesome, I know how frustrating hands can be... and the blade is legendary. This is one of the best pieces I've seen in a while; but then, I have your whole gallery to go through yet...

THANKYASOMUCHAZ! This is my character and now that I've pinched myself and picked my jaw up off the floor and overcoming total-stunned-ness, I can thank you! I'm so flattered by you and Mydian both for making this happen! 
And the artistry...*gawks* How'd you manage to make the colors so striking, but give the piece such a nuanced and ethereal quality, at the same time!? The level of detail is incredible: her hair texturing, the delicacy of her outfit, the skintones, midnight background, and sword rune etching....whoooooooaaa.
And the movement/action pose! Not only does the piece move, but the poise and balance are so precise, and the effects of her hair and outfit trailing naturally are incredible. I loooove motion capture poses, and the combo of her balance (the ballerina like sandals are a very nice touch), artful pose, and secondary motion effects (from the nonrigid hair and outfit) really give the eye a lot to follow.
This piece makes me want to dance!! Yet it's so sensual and soothing at the same time! She's so flat-out gorgeous...I think I'm just gonna stare at her for a while now. Maybe set as my wallpaper too. Thanks bunches Erin! You have the power!
P.S. You're right, she's an Eilistraeen, and a favored soul (gets magic from her, in a more inborn and less learned way than a priest) thereof. She was a Sharran (evil goddess of lies, darkness, revenge, etc.) in her past life, and basically got given a second chance in reincarnation; thanks to the divine nudge, and social influence (primarily Desaryl, Mydian's character, also an Eilistraeen, who taught Sonora to dance and stuff) she's a better person now.
On that note, the literal lights and darks in this piece are striking too. I can't get over how the work's color scheme and shading accomplish both the bold glowing contrast, and a soothing, mute night feel. You made the whites really glowy yet soft...like moonlight!
Those who wondered about the sword: it can morph its shape and material, so perhaps in this picture, Sonora has formed it of crystal or glasteel (a special glass/metal type material found in their world), and/or perhaps the nature of the sword's magic FX is that it becomes briefly translucent when it morphs. (Say! I like that idea!) She usually forms it into a bastard sword (as shown here) since that's Eilistraee's favored weapon.
Or, she might be using one of her spells ('spiritual weapon'), which conjures a sword made of pure energy.

Gawds, this piece is so gorgeous. ;n; I love it to death, man. Everything is so fluid and soft and lovely and DETAILED. The pose is freaking -awesomely- done ... and I just adore the hair. And man, I'm totally diggin' her left shoe for some reason. o_o
Oh and the sword? I can't even talk about that. Because like ... damn. Daayyyuuuum.

Yeah, I like to draw them too if I get the chance, but I rarely think of poses I like that include the backside, mainly because it doesn't show the face, and that's usually what I focus on lol
