Description
This knife reminds me of the large bladed surgical knives used by Renaissance surgeons, but with a gourlish twist.

The blade is high carbon steel, honed to a razor's edge, and the handle is 316 (marine grade) stainless steel, with a bronze inlay along the inner grip.

There are so many angles on this knife that it was difficult getting a shot where part of it wasn't in shadow, so that I could show off all that shiny metal ...

Since recieving a DD for this piece, I've recieved a lot of comments about how weak the handle is, and how ineffective this knife would be in combat, so to alay all those fears, I offer the following comments to put your minds at rest :

There is no weakness in the handle where it joins the blade what-so-ever. It is actually larger than it looks in the photo, and was actually made for combat, as are all of my pieces.

This knife does indeed have a very serious and effective use in combat, despite it's unusual design, but it's design reflects that purpose. Just because you do not understand how this knife is used, please don't assume it has no practical application. This one train of thought among comments has led to me to create a video describing how this knife is used in combat, and the concepts behind it's design and application, which you can view here .
