im useing this as one of the little posters im makeing for an art trade to give to mirko in exchange for a cool pic^.^ i hope you like it mirkoi do not own this pic, only the text, whoever owns outlaw star owns this
(the charecters in order are Aisha, melfina, and suzuka)
this was made by a studio named Morning Star Studio, so go onto amazon or best buy or somewhere and buy the DVDs and also their other stuff like cowboy bebop, so get off your rears and go buy the dam DVDs! or watch it legaly on TV

Because you did not make that picture. The company that owns the rights to Outlaw Star owns that image. If you don't have permission to use it you can't use it. That's how the DMCA policy views it. When you upload to this site you're agreeing that the work is yours, entirely. If it is not you credit it to the original owner that you got permission from (such as dollmakers or flash builders etc.) You have to follow the policies given by the original creattors. Since you don't have their permission it's viewed as theft.
If I came on your DA page and took a peice of work you made, turned it into a demotivational, and said "This is my work!" you'd be really pissed and tell me to get rid of it because I did not in fact actually make it. Same concept

I understand.. and it is an image I enjoy as I am a huge fan of the series.... but if they saw it and chose to take legal action the site could get shut down... why don't you make your own version of a poster of it? Or better yet get someone to commission you one. I do commissions for free... if you want i'll make you an image to use instead. Would that be something you're interested in? I could make it however you wanted it. And I give permission so no one could touch it or bother you about it.

but please dont bug me about the other motivational posters i have, if im asked to take them down by a moderator or someone representing the company i will, but as far as im concerned, im within fair use of simple screen shots. if i was uploading full episodes then yea, i should get fined for it or at least have some punishment. but a simple screen shot i dont find much problem with

I'm just telling you because it is against site rules. People love reporting demotivationals. The screen shots are against site policy, and are considered theft. But people don't generally know it so I feel I should warn them becuase ive seen people banned for less.

i understand where your coming from but that is compleatly differnt. i am not makeing a profit or hindering someone from makeing a profit from makeing this poster, nor am i ruining someones life by makeing this poster
