Adam's Comments: Pretty tired while typing this but.... We said it would be a big deal, wouldn't it?
To kinda emphasize how this is gonna work this filler is going up across all three comics at once... The story will be moving at a fast clip due to that; you don't have to check WaR one day then Blues another to get an idea to what's happening, you can just check any one site and keep up with the storyline. .... Yeah, this is another one of those concepts we've wanted to do for the comics pretty much since we started working on them so very glad to finally get to it. ^_^
Hell, we even hyped it up at the end of the last Blues chapter. The comic Grant is reading in the last page? Crisis on Infinite Earths. Nicely couples with how toward the end of the chatper before that he was reading a comic with Dr. Destiny on the cover and then went on to deal with Insomniac.
Very, very eager to actually do this concept. In particular the four-updates-a-week aspect. Wanna know just how quick the crossover will go by at that pace.... Either way, really hope everyone's eager and we didn't make this too confusing in explaining it. I was on the phone when I typed a lot of this and just been in a funk all day so feel like I'm messing that part up.

Martin's Comments: Yeah, this is something we've been wanting to do for a long, long time, and this particular storyline felt like a great way to do it. It was kind of tricky to line up in regards to Wright as Rayne and Blue Blood Heroes, and is a big part of why the last WaR chapter happened - to get both on similar schedules so we could do this - and it was kind of long thought trying to also coordinate it with Militant Gold would be almost impossible until we realized an easy opening to do so. Before that the idea was either to upload the crossover to MG after both it and its next chapter had finished or to do a recap, but neither was a very eloquent solution so we're quite glad that it'll get to run alongside the others on that.
We probably should clarify a bit that it will not just be Alex, the Black Court, the Blues kids, Jake, and the team that is not in fact named Militant Gold no matter what everyone tells you; we've got a few others from WaR joining in the fray as well as someone else from Blues. No one else planned from Militant Gold besides the core five though.
It's alluded to here but it feels important to reiterate in more detail, the intention is to write this chapter so that you don't need all surrounding context to understand what's happening. The situation and stakes are explained plainly at the very beginning and, while it takes a few pages to really get into it, we do carefully lay out who everyone is and what powers everyone has in a simple, clear to understand manner. We're really hoping even if you only read one or two of our comics you can really enjoy this meeting of all of them. We'll be both furthering existing plot hooks and setting up new ones in it so it is going to be important going forward, not just happening for the fun of it.
