Description My half of an art trade with OMG It's Damon Baird from the Gears of War series!

Pretty basic line art because I like to leave most of them unshaded for my own method of colouring. If you want to colour this, feel free, just let me know so I can link back to it and we can credit eachother
If I have scrimped on any details it's because I would add them in when colouring it myself...which I may do sometime in the not so distant future, I'm quite pleased with how he turned out.

Original pencils and Photoshop inks by myself. Took aprox 3 - 4 hours on and off.

Gears of War and Baird are (c) Epic games and their respective creators.

Thanks He's, as yet, the only piece of Gears work I have digitally inked, got a lot more in sketch format waiting to be messed with. I am currently doing what I said I wouldn't and colouring this one ta for the fav too!

Ha, well I'll bet the colored version will be even better!

I never have the motivation to digitalize/color any of my stuff, mostly because of my laziness , but also because the most advanced program I have is MS paint, which isn't gonna do much for me.

Thanks, he's almost finished, just adding light and shadow on the lancer, and a bit of background texturing.

Try GIMP for a piece of art software, it's totally free and does most of the things photoshop does, I used it for a long time before getting CS4. Artweaver is good too, acts more like Corel Painter pro

Thanks for the advice, I'll have to check them out. I've heard of GIMP, but never got around to actually dl'ing/using it, so I'll definitely have to try it out.

I loooove the Carmine brothers and yeppers you spelled it right they're so unfortunate (barring Clayton of course) I would actually quite like to tackle that task at some point. Have you seen the Anya costume I am working on? I can't keep track of everyone watching that WIP lol. I want a save carmine shirt! But they didn't come in a size that wouldn't swamp me

A little bit! It looks interesting. XD Oh there is so many ways to solve that problem! (My mother is seamstress so I know a little of how to fix stuff.) One way you could take it to a seamstress and get them to measure you to make the shirt fit and then resew it. Two was it in cold water it will make it shrink eventually. Or third you could do Heroin chic punk and just cut it out and sew it onto smaller tank top.

Yeah I end up modding lots of my clothes tbh, I'm thin, but I am also tall, so things that fit me around the way very often don't up and down the way apparently all thin people are hobbits...ooookay. The punk idea has merrit though. I'm a cyber goth so I just thought of something I could do with it lol. That or make my own I was just feeling lazy really I do have a "Let's make toast" hammer of dawn t-shirt I made for laughs.

Ha! I am pretty thin...but I am one of those girls: short! My problem/gift: I have hips. So small fits great on my chest and on my legs but my hips? Not so much. Thankfully I find out that dresses are perfect for someone like me! I bought a zip-up leopard grey dress for a party which I pared with black stockings, combat boots and a motorcycle jacket and my friend when he see me he blushed! I should have given him grief for it.

XD When I was 13-17 I was only goth then punk in public school but now that I am trying to find a job I am dressing more...mainstream. But in my heart punk will always = love. It is pain but way I see I would rather have money than have freedom for now. I went shopping with my brother and I bought him some Gears of War 2 pants and he freaked out when he found a small 'El buy it! BUY IT!!!! WE COULD BE TWINSSSSSSSS!!!!' Sadly he hid it in the cart until after we bought it. So now he is obsessed with them.

I didn't have hips until I turned 24...then I suddenly sprouted them overnight o.O must have been that dodgy smoothie I had at that juice bar. Dresses are a god send, and corsets I like to show off them curves! For work I don't really change my style at all but I don't work in the public eye so it's not a big deal for the company who hire me. I'll always be this way I think, lol 60 and still industrial dancing
As long as you're happy I say.
LOL about the pants, I didn't even know they made those, seen hats, shirts and wallets, got some cog tags laying around somewhere and the figures of course. I had to fix the locust headshot one, though, he went for a nosedive off the shelf and his leg fell off O.O

Lucky! I am part Latina so I got curvy when I was teenager. Now though I know how to dress them correctly. XD I joke with my mom when we shop 'I have a tiny Gay designer in me telling what not to wear and what to wear!' I know right!? They make short me not look so broken up like in pants such is fate of short girls. But lucky for me they make good petite clothes...expensive but petite. I am happy in dresses and skinny jeans (another gift!), and of course make-up! I love to play with it now! XD And am type who could not go outside without it on. Otherwise I would get that awful blotchy red skin our kind is sadly known for.

XD I find all his stuff at alternative stores but now some mainstream stores are selling them. Now every year I get him something like that: Halo, Call of Duty, Gears of War, or Family Guy.

No, he is always on his X-BOX but I will show it to him! Have you ever seen X-Play's Censoring Gears?! 'Marcus do you see what I see?' 'RAINBOWS!'

Yeah curves are cool, much nicer than that god awful keira knightley figure, she looks like a boy, I swear. Nothing attractive about that!
I fry in the sun, so yeah factor 50 for me lol, If I was any paler i'd be see thru. Works for me though so it's all good.

I did see a web comic where they all bled rainbows and their lancers had something like feather dusters on the end don't know if it's the same as what you're talking about though. Linkage?

XD For Americans it is considered 'supah sexah!' but to me it does look like boy and I like it when women look like women. ^^ I AM see through, seriously if look at my hands you can see all the veins all the way to my underarm. And now some of my veins peep through to say hi every once and while on my ribs. XD Besides I need to keep my casper-ish hue!

XD Oh go to Youtube now and look up X-PLAY Gears of War...and then Star Wars episode! I loved it! Morgan Windu and Aadam Calrassian two white nerdy wannabe Jedi with help of a Jedi Master who is foul mouthed puppet rat. Even when I think about it I laugh.

I really don't see the big fuss about being a size zero - I was when I was in my late teens and early 20's (stress and naturally high metabolism not a good mixture) and everyone used to ask me if I was well all the time lol. I didn't want to look that way but with so much pressure on at uni I didn't really have much choice. Soon sorted it's self out when I got settled though.

Yay for pasty casper whiteness XD we glow in the dark cos we're lambent <.<

I just looked it up, keep finding actual reviews though...this could just be one of my Nen-fails, so i'm gonna try again.

XD I am size 3, my grandmother is traditional Hispanic and whenever she sees me she asks 'Mija are you eating?' She doesn't understand that a girl can like to salad versus meat. I could be size 9 and she would still ask me such question. But after last year she realize I do. I cook a lot but I am glad I not look like I do. My friend was coming over and I was giving his mom instructions because his car broke down and she said 'I am going to buy him a hamburger-" and I think I pissed her off because I said, 'Oh no you don't have to! I am cooking Chicken Parmesan and you are more than welcome to join.' She just said 'Oh. You can cook.' Oops!

We DO glow in dark!!!

You think this line work was neat?? OMGTHANXPLZ! I had a bit of a nightmare with it, I always do with digital lining things. My tablet has a lightly textured surface that's supposed to simulate paper - it's an intuos 3 - but I still find myself putting a regular sheet of paper over it's surface to make it more intuitive feeling.
