Hello, I'm from ProjectComment.
I must say that this artwork is amazing and yet creepy at the same time. First of the lighting is amazing I love the way the lights are brightly lighting up the side of the building and the snow on the street while casting the shadow from the fence while the rest of the street is very dark. It feels like any other street as normal in winter.
The girl with the balloon floating in the street is so very creepy, with the bright colour of her red dress and bright blue hair contrast with her dead black eyes and mouth and dark hue of skin. If I were to see that, I'm not sure if I would run and hide or flee in terror.
The one thing I'm kinda confused about is her hands, I'm not sure if it meant to be in shadow or if she is wearing finger less gloves. It is really a minor nitpick and something you won't really notice unless you look real close.
The other thing is I fell that is missing is that part of her hair should be in a darker shade as it just really the one colour all the way through and it makes it feel kinda flat. Other than that it an amazing piece of art and you should be proud of this work. I hope to see more of your work in the future.

Hey there!
I gotta say, this feels like a scene right out of a horror/mystery novel. I really love how the blue and grey of the snow mix in the too-bright light of the streetlights. The barbed wire on top of the fence with the open door is a lovely touch, as well as the ong, slanted shadows of it. The city feels mysterious, almost dark in its blue hue, and the higher buildings of the background give it an enclosing, foreboding feeling. This contrasts wonderfully with the figure of the flying girl, her vibrant colours, along with the bare skin and dress unsuited for the weather giver her an eerie, if beautiful and dreamy, aura. She looks like she escaped from some government facility for kids with special powers, actually (or maybe I've been reading too much of Miss Peregrine...).
The snowflakes in the foreground being blurry, as well as their adding some light helps the atmosphere greatly, too, and I have to say this is one stunning piece of artwork. Can't say that I have anything to critizise about it!
Oh, and also, I'mwith ProjectComment .

Hm, we also had a winter colder than usual (-20C).
Where are meteorologists, that were forecasting global warming? I want to look in their eyes!

Awww, I am actually a geologist so I can tell you what the problem is. Global warming refers to a rise in global average temperature, so it doesn't mean that every place gets hotter. What it is expected to do is to intensify weathers in each areas. So hot dry places may experience more draughts. Cold places may experience more rain, snow, etc. Extreme weathers like tornados and storms will increase their intensities. What scares me a lot is that as sea surface temperature rises, and ice melts, the ocean current might change. There is a current of warm water circulating up to UK and Scandinavia, and if that shuts down (which is can suddenly), their climate might become much, much, colder suddenly, so much that you can't live there any more. Scary stuff. Sorry I didn't mean to go on and on, but because it's something I studied in school, I couldn't help myself

O_O
This year -20C, next year -30C. Brrr! it's time for us to evolve in furry.
By the way, very nice painting of geologist. I thought you're painter ...or, at least, student-painter.

So this is why you have landscape so beautiful.
...I think I also should draw more sketches.

This is really nice! It reminds me of a short movie named Le Ballon Rouge by Albert Lamorisse. The feeling is very different but it reminds me of it for obvious reasons.
