Major Edit: Since this is my last 'Two Sides' pic, I decided it needed to be a bit more eventful (that, and Toph deserves a much better tribute :D). I added a second view, from the other side of the room. The picture feels a lot more complete now; I'm glad I added on to it. Enjoy :).
Oh, and you don't have to comment a second time if you don't want to, lol XD.

Hehe, I kinda regret not including any earthbending in this pic, but I was trying to focus more on Toph's different attitudes -- one as the Bei Fong family's daughter and the other as her earthbender self.
I also tried to give this one more atmosphere and symbolism than the previous entries. And for that I guess I sacrificed dynamic camera angles and element bending, lol

The Lotus and the Bandit. Β I find Toph's name to be one of the most well selected of the characters. Β It means "lotus," a flower that represents the demure, graceful, elegant noblewoman her parents wanted her to be. Β But as the show itself points out, it is phonetically similar to "tough," which is how she sees herself. Β The irony of it all is delightful.

i really hated toph's parents,instead to be pround of her they raised her like she was their prisoner and forced her to be what she wasn't,toph is way better than a helpless,unintelligente and stereotypical lady,i love how you made her looking so confused and sad on her bei fong family side and so good mooded on her real side.

This is absolutely wonderful and I can't imagine anything that would represent her better. ((altho toph herself might have requested her Ember Island Actor to be represented here as well xDDD)) You really did an excellent job using atmosphere rather than 'showing off' toph's bending to show her difference in spirit.
I'm very pleased that you decided to show both sides- it really would have felt incomplete without it. If you have toph as a beifong, nothing could be a better comparison than the blind bandit's sly grin ;D
