this is a 100% American farmed wool blanket knitted by me as a favor for my friend Heather ( on the left) for her boyfriend Mike (on the right) for their anniversary. Biggest needles ever! Cool! Where did you get that crazy bulky yarn/what size needles did you use?

the big yarn comes from sheepshed.com and i don't really know what size needles they would be, being that I made them out of 4 or 5 inch circumference PVC tubes that I fashioned a pointy tip for by laminating thick cardstock together with masking tape. They are about as tall as me!
