Because one does not simply love Teldryn and not his voice!! After finding out who the man behind the mer was, I couldn't help but fall in love/awe with that incredibly talented, smexy, hilarious and mouthy master of Shakespeare, slapstick, Lion King's Scar(!!!) and, well, Dunmer!

Mixing reality with fantasy is a life long goal and project for me, and so here is one simple step.
Been 'working' on this project for far too long, but I'm quite pleased with it. Just imagine...a real Tamriel movie, with real actors!! Awesome!

so is that how he looks like I can't get him to change helmets for one that would let me see his face so I'm getting a bit frustraited

Well actually that's Teldryn's feature mixed with his voice actor's features- and the face shape leans more towards Donohue's. The faces in 'True Story' and the sculpture I have of him are more accurate to in-game Teldryn. fav.me/d5ydksj
Btw-
If you have Ice Form shout, you can disband him, freeze him with the shout, troll his inventory in sneak until it opens and usually his helmet and boots etc will show up as pickpocketable. If you get them he won't attack, just get him back as a follower and hope he forgives you.

I still havent been able to get my pickpocket skill up to 100 but I can clearly see he is more charming without the chitin helmet lol
Have to admit, he has one of the MOST interesting dialog for followers (and more interesting to admire with no helmet) ^^

Dan D. is pretty cool! Kinda went head over heels, I did... Lol, blame Teldryn/Ralis/Vendil/Othreloth etc and my obsession with Dunmer...and sexy voices. Oh gawd.
Hey! So if you have Ice Form shout, tell Teldryn to go home-ignore his whining- then shout at him. When he falls over go sneak mode and start trolling his inventory. Good chances you'll get his helmet and other goodies, and he won't go hostile!
