@///3///@ Oh gosh, I'm so so soooooo sorry that I haven't been uploading much! I feel so much better these days, but I've still have/had some irl stuff to work out before I can make a full comeback. >w< I'm super amazingly excited though because next year I will have the wonderful opportunity to devote the whole year to furthering my art/Youtube and nothing else! ^w^ Drawing the things that I love and making videos and furthering my professionalism as an artist is going to be like my full-time job! So that means a lot more Livestreams again, as well as frequent videos, and of course more artsu to post here <333 >w< I'm also finally going to have the time to work on a website for an overview of my characters/stories since many people ask about that and I've wanted to make one for a long time!
TvT Like I said though, that time will be in full effect likely in the beginning of next year and until the end of the year. T~T Y-you know, its very hard to make it in this world as an independent artist, and realistically, I do not know if I will be able to keep doing that forever. But i've been given a rare opportunity to pursue my own aspirations as I see fit so I want to make the most of it and try my best to do what I love and be successful at it. T///w///T Who knows, maybe I can make drawing my career in life, but either way regardless of how well that goes i'm just so grateful and happy that I can spend even a small amount of time doing what I love and for the people I love so much; all of you!

This started out as just a doodle of a new OC that I made not to long ago. TwT I kind of liked how it was turning out, so I ask you guys on Twitter if I should finish it and make a video for it and I did! >~> I did actually finish it a while ago, but got caught up with stuff so the video/posting of this got super delayed. OTL
TwT Anyways, thats about it. Its just a doodle, so its not that great, but I like it a little bit anyways~ Its been a while since I did any pencil shadings. TwT My first love <3
Anyways, character/story textwall of blah below if you are interested. ;__; Its like, super long this time because AHHH so many things to explain for anything to make sense since you guys don't know anything about it yet OTL. Otherwise, thanks so much for just putting up with my rambling for this long haha xDD

So this is a new character of mine, who's name is Grymley (GRIM-lee) and who actually belongs to a new story as well! 8D
....xD Well like a mini story I guess. Kind of like Spore/Minerva or River's stories. They focus on a small number of characters and have much simpler worlds/focuses compared to my stories Sleight/Unitrios/Wake which have dozens of important characters and couldn't get much more convoluted if I tried xDDD //shot

T3T Anyways, Grymley's story its not the most creative thing in the world, but I like the concept and of course not everything necessarily needs to be super complex to be compelling. Basically the world is similar to that of real life, except that in their universe exists what I like to call literal manifestations of a person's inner conscience. You know, like in cartoons, when the "angel" and "devil" versions of oneself are consulted when making tough decisions? In this world however, one's consciences will not appear as literal reflections, but as the "spirits" or "ghosts" of actual deceased people, one a representative of "heaven" and one for "hell", you could say, though in reality their roles are not quite so literal. One still living person living in dire inner turmoil is assigned a representative of each to consult with the person their options, opinions, repercussions or gains from two different angles. However, these "angles" - the consciences- are not quite so simple as "good" and "bad" but instead represent the acting for one's own immediate gain and that will cause the least amount of physical pain, or represent the gain of all the people involved and what will cause the least amount of emotional pain, to put it simply. Of course, there is a purpose behind why the consciences do this too. They do not pit themselves against one another for no reason, not even so much for the well-being of their host, but instead to essentially win a game. Each "good" and "bad" pair essentially are trying to out-due each other in persuading the currently living person to weigh more heavily to either side, racking up "points" to whichever they side with, and the winner is decided when the person dies. You could say that winning is like a "right of passage" or a means to propel an individual to great status within their own hierarchy. And yes, it is something well worth doing.
Grymley is one of those consciences, and is a representative for what would be easiest to explain as "hell". However, because there is no literal "good" or "bad" representatives, you might assume that the representatives from "hell" instead persuade their host to their own individual gain but in reality it is the opposite. You could say it is like "penitence" for the selfish actions they have most likely taken in their own lives that as a conscience they are tasked with promoting selflessness. Of course, nothing says they have to do so, but scoring in the opposing teams goal is not how a game is won. So needless to say the representatives of "heaven" are on the side of self gain. In their case though it is not necessarily intended with the idea of ironic punishment, but the real reasons they keep a secret. The societies greatly differ between these two sides as one can imagine, but the do both function in similar hierarchy systems. Of course, the thing that determines the class of the person is how many wins they have over the other side. The more someone wins the more valuable they are considered, thus given progressively better lives. Of course the level of comfort for the beginning class level of each is....well quite drastically different, but that is a story for a different day. I will talk more about their world and how they interact with their hosts another time.
Anyway, in addition to each side not being literal to the concept of "good" or "bad" they also do not take on literal "angel" and "devil" appearances either. There are some things which are what you would expect, but others that are different. Members of the side of "hell" actually take on an appearance reflective of insects, while the members of "heaven" to birds. Members of "hell" have ethereal insect wings on their backs that are only used in certain instances and they also have horns on their head that directly reflect the antennae, horns or mandibles of the insect they are. Members of "heaven" have smaller wings on the sides of their heads, but do not have any on their back nor do they have horns. In most cases, the bird/insect that they are directly reflects their appearance so if their bird had white wings for example, so would they.
Grymley is androgynous, and does not refer to themselves as either gender. They are not completely genderless though, so they are physically a male or female, but because it is part of their character that they keep it to themselves it would be destructive to their persona if I said which one it actually is, but you are free to see them as however you'd like. A conscience's exact age is irrelevant, but Grymley is supposed to look about 16-17. Grymley's insect is the Purple Swallowtail Butterfly which is drawn here. The other things in the drawings represent things that they like or that are significant to them. Grymley is very much fascinated with anything related to superstition and collects tons of strange objects that have to do with them such as Ouija boards, skulls, salt shakers, etc. Pretty much they just collect strange and creepy things in general, but especially things that have superstitious sub-context. Grymley also likes to handmake pretty much everything from clothes and accessories to trinkets and furniture. A lot of their creations are.... creepy but also oddly cute. Their fashion sense looks like it ransacked Beetlejuice though. In the side of "hell" many resources are not widely avaliable so Grymley likes to scrounge around for old items to fix them or re-purpose them into new things. Grymley also extends this skill to other people who are in need of things, such as sewing people new clothes or fixing their furniture. The result however is...always a little "different" then they expected, but is done with good intent. The other main hobby they have is playing musical instruments, specifically the Cello and Double Bass. Personality wise, Grymley is serious and diligent, sometimes to a fault. They tend to take things a bit to seriously, so things like sarcasm tend to fly other their head. They aren't a "funny" type of person, so humor is pretty much lost on them. If someone does play some sort of joke on them or when they realize the intention of things that initially flew over their head, they tend to get mad and flustered almost immediately. Generally they are calm and handle most things with short and precise words but they have very little patience for people who are being intentionally annoying or persistent and will quickly loose the indifferent facade in such instances. They always tend to have an intent focused look which comes across as a bit of a scowl. It doesn't matter if they are eating a bowl of cereal or talking to someone, they always look a bit disgruntled. Even so, they aren't abhorrently mean nor dislike people, they just prefer to only speak when necessary and as concisely as possible. And Lastly, Grylmey is in one of the highest classes in their hierarchy and has won many times. Their story mainly takes place with after those many wins, with their current rival being a man who's name is Darcy, which I will speak about the two of them someday later.

TwT Hehe, anyways, yeah. Its not the most creative thing in the world, but really, none of my stories are like super mindblowingly amazing anyways. I just write things that I like and that interest me...which i'm always surprised and humbled that you guys seem to like ;w;
