So I finally got around to trying EasyPaintTool SAI and IT. IS. GLORIOUS. Everything I had difficulties with in Photoshop is so much easier with SAI. I'm still using the trial but I'm definitely going to buy it when or before the trial expires. So many things I had no idea how to go about doing in Photoshop are just there and so easy to play around with. For my first major experiment I tried Yoshi's Island coloring style and I'm actually pretty satisfied with the result on my first try! Photoshop is great for some things, but for drawing and coloring SAI is simply amazing.
