I do agree, I've loved the Pokemon series ever since I was 7 years old and I love it now. I'm the kinda person who likes all generations of a frachise but hates certain games of the series. Like with Sonic, I hated Riders, Next Gen, Zero Gravity, and the old games like spinball weren't my favorite games either. With Pokemon, the only ones repetitive sounding to me was Pokemon Dash and Battle Revolution (which is ok, but not that good). But yeah, I don't reall agree when people say the pokemon look unoriginal. I do have moments where I miss the original anime series but the show is still good to me. I also really liked Misty, she was the best one yet, but I like Dawn too. But I respect anyone's opinion when they think it's not as good as it used to be.

I've liked pokemon since It's been around my whole life, Hell I still enjoy watching it and have been watching it for 13 years, But I don't like some of the new pokemon. I admit they look pretty cool, But Eh I don't know why I don't.
Of course I never complain or flame people for liking them. To each is their own.
What i'm trying to say is Nice stamp Dalton.

I hate the new pokemon.
They're all so lame and uninspired. They started to go downhill after the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald games. They were just forcing them out.

I'm not mad at hardly any of the change in the Pokemon series. Has a matter of fact, I once guessed that Misty was going to be replace.
As for the new pokemon, I kinda like it. They may go overbroad sometime, be new land=new creature. You can find wild wolves in the U.S, but you can only find wild dingo in Australia. There both part of the dog famliy, but they are total different.
My only problem is Ash, ethier make him smarter or replace HIM.
I'm done

I didn't say it was childish. And it's just weird that someone would actually still follow it after all these years. Kinda like Power Rangers.

But...aren't you bitching about them bitching, and therefore have lowered yourself to their level and completely nullified this stamp because you're no better than them now!
I know it's annoying, but I would recommend you just ignore those bitching about it. I mean, I don't like May nearly as much as I like Dawn or Misty, and if I choose to complain about it, that's one thing. Let's say, however, May's your favorite character and I find your fanart and just flame it with "i h8 may!" Then you've got a good complaint.
Things like this just seem...immature. There's no point in making this stamp, because, as you've probably seen, it only infuriated those. Telling people to "shut up" generally doesn't make them shut up. It makes them yell at you.
I agree with cunningcoyote, definitely, on all accounts. I know where you're coming from too, and I don't think people should hate the pokemon. I, in fact, enjoy the new pokemon. The show has turned into an afterschool special for me, and I'm not nearly as into it, but I like the new games and understand how people feel on either side.
The new kids have just got into pokemon, and the old kids are yelling at them for things they don't even understand.
And, just to set it all straight, Ash will and forever will be ten, despite anything they accidentally said in the anime (they also said Brock's mother was dead, so...) and they've expressed this in the most clicked on interview. He's stuck at ten, now and forever.
Just...it's really, really rude to tell people shut up like that, and you end up getting more anger than help. If you want to express yourself, try calmly expressing this in a rant, saying why you feel this way and making sure you say you understand where the other side is coming from. You'll probably get a much nicer response, other than people going:
"no they suc!1"
and
"OMFG i agreeeee!!!11!!!"

Like I said before: You have to ignore it.

If your very first pokemon game was Sapphire, then you have absolutely no idea why some people even dislike the newer gens in the first place. You don't have anything to compare it to. Those people are the ones who've been playing the games from the very beginning, and have fonder memories of those games, so the nostalgia factor plays heavy. Also, the argument that the originality is lacking really isn't that unfounded either, since certain sorts keep popping up. For example, Beautifly = Butterfree, Pidgey = Hoothoot = Taillow = Starly.
I personally don't agree with either of those statements, since the reoccurring types are part of the game's nature, and "they changed it, now it sucks" isn't really a good argument, especially since it's never really explained WHY they supposedly suck.
However, "these people should shut up because I don't agree" is also a bad argument, and an immature one at that. People have every right to complain and criticize if they want to, there's no reason why they shouldn't complain if they feel that strongly about it.
People have reasons behind their criticisms, you know.
I'm one of those people that complains about "Electric Soldier Porygon", for example. I honestly don't think that one freak incident should ban all depictions of the pokemon from the anime altogether, and that there's really no reason to write porygon or it's evolutions out of the show.
I can fully understand complaints about Misty leaving, especially when her replacements don't have nearly as interesting personalities, even though I understand why she left and accept the fact that show really needed to change in some areas to spice it up.
And if Ash is any age, he's probably 14 (journeying around the regions takes roughly a year, I gather, four regions = four years). the argument for 20 I think stems from the timeline of the games. Three years are between Pokemon Red and Gold, so it's plausible that the same amount of time passed between all the games, which is a period of no less than 10 years altogether, making Ash in his 20's. However, I don't really think the timelines of the anime and the game are at all compatible, since by the time we get to Gold, Red (Ash) is already a pokemon master, and in the anime Ash is still way into his journey.
As I said, I don't agree with all the criticisms people make about Pokemon (in all its forms), but I at least have the maturity to try and see the other side of the argument, see where they're coming from and agree to disagree.
Bitching about other people bitching just wastes time and effort for everyone involved at best. At worst, it makes the complainer look like an ass.

I see. " If your very first pokemon game was Sapphire, then you have absolutely no idea why some people even dislike the newer gens in the first place. "
Actually I did got Red version just to see the old school of Pokemon after a month when I got Sapphire.
" I can fully understand complaints about Misty leaving, especially when her replacements don't have nearly as interesting personalities, even though I understand why she left and accept the fact that show really needed to change in some areas to spice it up. "
I couldn't agree more.

Eh... I didn't like them too much. I prefered the oldies. I cleary remember beating R2's Mewtwo on Stadium using the following-
Electrode- (Thunder Wave, Explosion, Thunderbolt, Light Screen)
Snorlax- (Amesia, Body Slam, Earthquake, Selfdestruct)
Chansey- (Softboiled, Blizzard, Psychic, Thunderbolt)
Lapras- (Confuse Ray, Blizzard, Double Team, Rest)
Clefable- (Double Team, Rest, Blizzard, Body Slam)
Articuno- (Blizzard, Bubblebeam, Double Team, Rest)
