I miss France somehow. We were in Belgium on the way back from England and there were all those french speaking people (well tehere were a lot in England, too.) Hopefully we'll visit France next year

Oh yes I you never went to France I believe it's worth it^^ My main travel project in the next 2 years will be Berlin, I believe, knowing that I should live in London soon, and all I've ever seen of Germany was the south.
It's going to be my first trip on my own, cause it matters to me but no one else understands. I don't want to bring someone who just feels like being a tourist when it means so much more to me. They would just annoy me, so, i'll be alone.

Ah yes, Berlin. I've never been there for a long time. But you can spend lot's of time there, as far as I know. It's sure worth a visit^^. All Stories of a united Germany (you know after this country has been split up in 212 States and was united afterwards) are related with Berlin. Plu s Berliners are quite interesting people. They say straight what they think, but often in an a little rude way. Well, I like them^^. They are funny to hear and to look at. Not that saxonians would be better.... Sorry for spamming you with german peoples^^"

That's exactly what i want: a historical and artistic tour. basically, re-reading the german romantics while walking through modern berlin, and visit historical sites and museum, with german epic music in my ipod. get up early to read poetry and then spend the night in a night club. music, popculture, classical art litterature, opera, the brightest and darkest moments of the german history, i want to get immersed in this at least once in an extreme 24/7 race to catch a glimpse of this mystery that keeps feeding my dreams: wth is Germany?

Well, thinking about what always stands in my newspaper (it's from Berlin) you won't have any problems to fill your days there with art, theatre and movies.
If you get to know what Germany is I'd like to hear, since I don't really know what "Germany" is either.

I don't expect to find a real answer, it's more the hope to make it mine a little because I'm still convinced that, and no one can reason me on that, i must have been german in another life. It's stupid and crazy,I know. It's a bit like if I was looking for memories... but I know it makes no sense. No sense at all.

indeed! 2013 is 50 years of french-german friendship and I had to celebrate this. My german watchers are very sensitive to it, so it's rewarding to see they clearly percieve the message behind the fanart and feel it too. there's hope and love from both parts.
