its a little bit photoshoped for the high exposure. its actually inside a paper tea cup. The ants were going crazy for the sugar I guess.

Somehow feels melancholic? I mean the fact that they are trapped in a jar(?), sometimes you feel like you're trapped in a 'jar'. Anyways, great piece!

they are actually inside a cup of 8 sugar dissolved tea, which we can see the last bit of it. it was fair enough to attract the ants i guess but not has been planned as a trap. thanks ...

wow this is some hell of a piece! CONGRATS! Most definitly what I like about this it's how the ants looks like fighting to stay on the centre. Also the contrast used in the picture give a nice effect. That's what I called originality and the concept is just fine!

It's really nice th way everything seems to be orbiting round the centre, gives such a great focus to the whole image, I also really like the crop of the whole image as well, its like a rising sun perhaps!

one of my friends told me it looked like japaniese flag, and i see it sometimes like a solid transparent candy which the ants are kept inside. actually it is just a tea so : )

awesome concept.
for some reason it makes me think about the message in the movie requiem for a dream. all about addictions, and how at the beginning everything is going so well, and at the end they're all so screwed up, and it's not something you can fix easily. i've seen these things happen in my own life as well, and i think this piece illustrates the dangers of everyday life in a simplistic way.

requiem for a dream was an amazing movie. and yes after thinking i realised the main feeling and thoughts are the same mostly.
