This reminds me of a painting one of my friend's sketched... a Regency portrait of someone. She's very pretty.

This looks very much like a picture from the 1810s! Her dress is in empire-style (with the high waist) and her pose also reminds me of the greek style wich was popular during that age

Her body seems disfigured...her waist turned toward you, but I like the coloring...I never seen the movie/read books but I like how you portrayed her.

Rather than disfigured, I think her body seems awkwardly positioned... I took my inspiration from an 18th century painting called: Madame Recamier, by Francois GΓ©rard. The lady, Madame Recamier, has the exact same position, and I always thought it looked very original, so I took the idea and used it for this painting. Thanks for posting your opinion!
