Description Sardou's phrascor is a rare basal pseudopod found in the north of Dome 4's southern micro-continent. Dwelling near swamps, they use their downturned heads to graze on waterside ferns and bryophytes. Unlike the majority of pseudopods which use the coxal segment of their front limbs to hear, Sardou's phrascors instead utilize their snouts, which are always placed on the ground to pick up vibrations. This lets them hear the footsteps of large predators, such as the northern mantis stork, and scurry away before they approach. Despite their size, Sardou's phrascors are quite skittish, avoiding human contact whenever possible. This might explain their rarity.
