Sasuke was quiet. As the young man's silence dragged on, Naruto's heart started stinging. Every pulse hurt more than the last. Were things truly ending between them?

"...I'm sorry," Sasuke said.

It felt like something in Naruto's gut began crumbling in on itself. A hot sensation of nausea swept through his body, and he feared he was going to be sick. He'd done all he could, but Sasuke still-

"I'm sorry I pushed you this far," said Sasuke, choking on his words. "Give me just... a little more time..."

Sasuke's voice was barely audible, and Naruto realized he was speaking through tears.

"Don't leave me," he heard him whisper.

Every song seems to be about my OTP right now, but I had such a strong emotional reaction to this one, I knew a picture was in order.

Gotta say, this was difficult to draw. The perspective was ridiculously challenging for me. I must've spent six hours redrawing their damn feet alone. Guess that means I oughta practice it more, huh? XD

...Or actually, I've gotta find a better way to visualize people in 3-D space. I need a system, really. Foreshortening can't take this long every time, y'know~
