...is the production and emission of light by a living organismat least I can say I learned something from chem LOL
this piece is finaaally done, I drew this a few months back but finally got around to coloring it these past two weeks (I'm not lazy, nope). I tried a different coloring style to see how saturated and vivid I could get the color and boy was that fun I think I broke like half of my beloved prismas from coloring so damn hard lol..
aaand I went a little crazy with the glows on photoshop but I couldn't resist
expect a few more pieces from me before summer ends! Can you believe there's less then a month left. kill. me. now.
Tools: Staedtler pigment liners, Prismacolor pencils, white paint & gel pen for ze sparkliez & Photoshop CS6
Time: over 40 some hours, I literally passed out and lost count OTL

Again, beautiful clean lines, color and blending, lots of enjoyable details and the glows are very pretty. I like the variance in positions of the tree and details, I think they create a nice rhythm that I like 
on the other hand, again the trees are completely parallel to the edge of the canvas, perfectly straight (which may be because of the type of tree), and her pose (spine) is also creating a straight line - they do match each other though, creating a nice unity to the piece, but if you just turn her a bit, showing the curves of the spine and asymmetrical body parts (while she's still standing straight), it'll make her stand out as the center of the piece more (which you may not need as she's already standing out with the color). There's just different ways and trade off I guess.
The only other thing is the size of the right most tree, it should probably be bigger than the middle tree cause it's closer.
Overall, beautiful piece, keep up the great work!

It has potential and I find colored pencils to be the bane of my existence so I give you bonus points for using them. To start I enjoy the use of colors and the various details around such as the berries in the trees and on the plants around the base. The glow is a good idea as well and the background gradation brings it together fairly well. However, what I find particularly off about this piece is how the glow is all encompassing around the objects and isn't transparent. It could make it a better piece if you laid in light details and indications of what is behind the glow in the background and make the glow more subtle as it tapers off to it's end point.

I really love the colors and attention to detail here. Everything I very vibrant and well done. It looks like it would have taken forever to do that grass and those trees. Good job.

It looks amazingly vivid and colourful! I like everything in this image. It looks beautiful especially the girl in it wearing the dress.
