Description Yet another in my Horror Classics series. Here's a caricature of Elsa Lanchester as the Bride of Frankenstein. Probably the most well-known of the Universal horror sequels, this film, while still great in many ways, has a few major flaws that make it far less enjoyable than its prequel for me, namely the rushed ending and the silly "mini-people" concept. It just doesn't seem as eerie as the original. Either way, it's still a classic, and Ms. Lanchester looks awesome as the monster's mate. I could have exaggerated some features more, such as the skinniness of her neck and bulge of her eyes, but I figured I'd keep it a bit more tame as to match the other pictures in the set, only to now realize that was probably a poor choice, as Gillman and Olrox, among others, are quite exaggerated already. It could have been much better, but its good enough for the quick amount of time it took last night.    It still could be much better, though, and the stitches are not nearly visible enough.
Here are the others so far:

I like that you're keeping the actors' likenesses for each of these pieces. The level of exaggeration on this one is certainly less
pronounced than the others, but it feels appropriate. If you were to change one thing about it, I'd simply suggest more stitches.
Great work on the series as a whole.

Thanks a lot. Yeah, the stitches should be more abundant.

Yeah, one of the most memorable hairdos in all media.

The monster and now the bride!
I'd say you exaggerated her good enough and I wouldn't want to see a scary skinny ass neck lol
For some reason as a kid, I was always confused with the sequel. Maybe I should revisit it some time.

Thanks. I could see the movie being a bit confusing as the ending is rushed really quickly. We don't even see the bride until the last few minutes of the film, and within those minutes we get establishing shots, the creature trying to approach her, her getting scared, then the creature quickly deciding to set things right and destroying the two creatures and the bad scientist by destroying the lab (all via a convenient lever). As I said, it's still a great movie in a lot of ways, but the ending, which is more or less the real attraction of the film, seems very rushed and anti-climactic.
