Description
This was created on the spur of a moment; inspired when I listened to this excellent, absolutely awe inspiring piece of music by Ponyphonic: [link]The premise is that Celestia has a final vision of Luna as she was while Nightmare Moon is banished. It's been done before, I know, but it's my take on it, with a more show-like style. And while the Elements' spell rages around them, for a brief, fleeting moment, Celestia remembers it is her sister who she is banishing and promises to do whatever she can to save her when she returns.
Completely hand drawn, and vectored in Inkscape.
Hope you enjoy. I'm not entirely sure why I made this myself, but I am happy with the results.

Even though she banished Nightmare Moon, she also lost her sister to that monster.
Sometimes you are left with no choice, Celestia believed that there could've been another way. But Nightmare Moon struck too quickily.

I... would love this. I did love this, it really does convey the emotion well.
But someone has pointed out that Luna is missing her front legs and resembles a seapony. Or perhaps a duck. Now I can't stop seeing it.
