Description
As promised, one of my new Lovecraft Chess Set pieces. I was displeased with a lot of aspects about the original set I sculpted; most prominently the bases, but I felt some of the pieces were a bit dull and sub-par. I've kept the new set a bit simpler in terms of surface detail since they will be cast and painted with (most likely) various faux-stone finishes.Of my original set, I was most displeased with the Deep One. I have a hard time accurately envisioning the 'Innsmouth look' and as such I felt the original was a bit lackluster.

I actually really liked the deep one from the other set the best..
This one is good too though..

I didn't dislike the first one, but I wanted a little more of a human look, and the pose was too much like Cthulhu's pose, I thought.
