Description 1792-Jefferson's Return from France, opposition activity against the Federalist party.
1793 - a major scandal associated with the French envoy Edmond Charles Genet, who called for war against the UK American citizens. Citizen Zhene was sent back to France, and T. Jefferson as a supporter of cooperation with France fell the shadow of the incident. But despite the embarrassment Jefferson still remains true to his idea of an Alliance with France, according to which, only an Alliance with her will help to avoid falling under the influence of the United States of great Britain.
From 1793 to 1796 there are disputes about economic policy, T. Jefferson defends the rights of farmers to conduct free trade, while A. Hamilton requires an increase in excise duties. Ultimately, the policy of Federalists leads to the fact that the party in the eyes of the population enjoys less support.
1796-New presidential elections, which won T. Jefferson by a small margin from A. berry and A. Hamilton.
By 1796, a new administration of the President was formed, in addition, T. Jefferson begins the implementation of his plan for the device of "American agrarian democracy", in which citizens would become free farmers, endowed with land. From the idea of decentralization, which according to Jefferson should not allow the strengthening of the despotism of power, he gradually refuses, replacing it with a more perfect system of checks and balances.
In 1800, the Treaty of Alliance with France of 1778 was extended, under which the United States undertook to prevent the capture of French colonies by a hostile power to France (by which the United Kingdom was meant). But it is limited to a set of American volunteers and sending them to France, as Jefferson and Napoleon understood the impossibility of the United States to fully confront the UK, both at sea and on land.
In 1803, Napoleon was faced with a shortage of funds, and in this connection turns to Jefferson with an offer to buy them Louisiana, to which he agrees. The territory of the United States was doubled.
In 1810, Mexico became an independent state from Spain, with which the government of Madison hastened to establish trade relations.
To the 1830-ies, the USA became the main trading partner of Mexico and its main creditor. Due to the fact that the latter was unable to pay off the accumulated debt, the Mexican government offered to sell America's North-Western part of California (now the territory of Utah).
in the 1860s, the country began an active construction of factories and Railways, carried out active industrialization, the main creditor here is French capital. The emergence of a significant lobby in the North of the country, interested in the abolition of slavery, hindering the industrial development of the country.
1863-there are limited attempts to abolish slavery, especially in the Northern States, such as Pennsylvania, new York, Connecticut, Maryland, Rhode island and Vermont.
By 1893, slavery was abolished in almost all States, with the exception of the States of Georgia and Louisiana, where the most developed plantation lands were located. However, at the legislative level, the state government abolished the persecution of slaves who wanted to escape from their master, in addition, an incentive system was introduced for those who voluntarily decided to free the slaves. For them, the envisaged lower taxes under the symbolic 0.5 percent, and government subsidies for several years.

Great looking map...

...however, you reference the territory of Utah in the text, but... i'm not seeing it anywhere?

...and why is New York City not in New York? (curious to the in-universe reason)

I thought that in this situation the Western lands would not be so developed, so their fragmentation would be impractical

I enjoy this map very much. New and refreshing! But I've noticed some strange artifacts on full size. What program do you use?

Maryland, is not Yankee. Thank you very much. An interesting idea in order to bring about the abolition of slavery, on that note, how does the Republic of Texas not become a thing, when the outlawing of slavery in Mexico OTL is what spurred its development, within reason I could see that process being 'sped up' so to speak?

Interesting idea of using tax breaks to coerce states to abolish slavery.
