Description
So this line-up started originally as the crew of my original Star Wars ship, the Star Rider, a small scout ship attached to the Jedi Exploration Corps, launched on a mission to discover new hyperspace routes just weeks before Order 66 was enacted. As I was working on it, a basic idea for a story of the crew formed in my mind, so decided to expand the crew somewhat:

The Clone co-pilot complied with the Order and set about trying to sabotage the ship to take out the Jedi Master overseeing the mission as well as the other "failed" Jedi on board. He was ultimately stopped, though not before killing the Master and another of the crew.

The survivors returned to Coruscant but were attacked and forced to flee. From then on they pulled together a number of other individuals who had all fallen afoul of the new Empire, but as their ship had minimal light armament she never stood much chance against the full might of the hostile forces that they encountered. After one harsh battle they escaped but had to drop out of hyperspace in the middle of nowhere to try and make repairs. As they sat in space, they detected a faint Jedi signal and tracked it into the orbit of a gas giant where they discovered a Consular-Class Charger C70 frigate, the Valiant, the ship of Jedi Knight Rella Trey'fa.

The crew docked and went aboard to find no one alive, the Clones killed by Trey'fa who'd been mortally wounded as she'd fought her former troopers. The Star Rider crew quickly learned that Trey'fa had modified the ship in a few unique ways (including retrofitting the saloon pod to act as a hangar, instead of an escape craft, which still had two Eta-2 Actis-Class interceptors berthed), and that she was in better shape than their own ship. With great reluctance, they decided to abandon the scout in favour of the frigate, which would offer them greater chance for survival, and meant that they could grow their crew and begin to form a better means of rebelling against the Empire.
