Over the past six months or so, I've been working on a book about Fantasy Art. I have to draw a bunch of traditional fantasy characters for it. So here's my drawing of a Barbarian.Related content

I very much remember this drawing from that fantasy art book. Back then, I thought that this was your genre. Then, I find bryan baugh on dA and WHOA, zombies! Oh well, it's an excellent design.

This is an amazing drawing of a barbarian. You make me feel like my own art is just so insignificant compared to your illustrations. This barbarians is just absolutely incredible. I love his axe on his back. Poor headless guy.

Magnificent barbarian. It captures just about everything that makes barbarians great. I love the expression on the severed heads' face. All that he needs now in some scantly clad wench clinging fearfully to his leg. Or to go off and battle a gaint snow ape...

Well done--yes, it immediately reminded me of my old Conan comics (which I'll have to dig out now, thank you). Wonderful drawing and detail. I love how you drew his face--he doesn't look like he's in the mood to take any B.S.

Cool comments. Thanks. And I'm glad I inspired you to drag out your old Conan Comics. When I was a teenager, I was always a big fan of the "Savage Sword of Conan" comic magazines. A lot more graphic violence and naked girls in those than in in the regular Marvel comic! Haha.

Ahh, I have a few "Savage Swords" that my grandfather bought me at a flea market. Used to hide them from my mom. Ahhh, the good ol' days!

I drew it with blood. The reason the lines look black is because my blood is black and rotten.
