Description
I thought about waiting to post this guy until I had his bio all straightened out, but screw it. That'll come another time.
So this is Blazar, part of my plan to expand a bit on the spacial/cosmic side of the Extraordinary Mythos. Outside of Thunder Woman, Captain Meteor, and the Vigil Alliance, I really haven't done much to really touch on the starry beyond, and what I have done has been very "Earth centric." Even my other major space hero, Panopticon, is essentially locked to the Solar System and sticks close to Earth. He looks in, not out. So that needs correcting, and Blazar is hopefully the beginning of that.
In a nutshell, Blazar is a man who was caught up in a cosmic conflagration on Earth that sent him faaaaaaaar away to an alien world, and in the process transformed him into an interstellar being bursting with cosmic energy. With no clue as to what happened, why he became what he is now, or even where he is, he goes out into space traveling from world to world looking for answers and ways of getting home. Along the way he encounters a wide variety of strange aliens, powerful cosmic entities, and menacing extraterrestrial threats, and more often than not finds himself drawn into various ordeals and conflicts unwillingly or in order to proceed. And all the while, he feels a strange urge to go in a particular direction, like he is being called to go somewhere. He has no idea who or what is calling for him, but he feels like it has something to do with his current situation, and hopefully is the key to getting answers and returning home to Earth.
Beefier backstory is coming...someday, but for now here he is. Stay tuned for more stuff related to the cosmic side of the Mythos.

I love the look of this guy! I'm like you, I never really went delved into the cosmic or stellar side of my "universe". (In my case, my close friends made up for that, I had never really needed to).
You're certainly off to a great start!

That is a VERY cool design, apropos of a cosmic-level character. Nicely done.

In my mind, the rotational detail is constantly moving and in motion.

This guy looks super-cool. Very "Jim Starlin Background Guy" who would mess with Warlock or give some enigmatic advice or something.

Thanks! What's funny is that this guy is on the receiving end of cryptic bullshit fairly regularly, and is always annoyed by it. Very much a human viewpoint character, in some ways akin to Quasar.
