Description
The Overlords are a diverse, clandestine alliance of (mostly) unknown and extremely powerful megavillains who all share a deep dissatisfaction with the world and the people in it, and desire change things to fit their mutual expectations. This involves eliminating all rivals, tearing down every institution, and bringing to heel all that remains, forcing humanity to better itself at the edge of a proverbial sword. Functionally, they epitomize everything the worlds fears the Star Chamber to be.

Their genesis came about in the form of a series of chance encounters that led to the formation of a secret association that led to the purpose and goal of the Overlords. Despite each member personally possessing vast power and resources, they operate covertly, using deception and guile over brute force in order to overcome their adversaries, so that when they are forced to resort to force, their enemies are not ready for them.

For the present moment, the Overlords move quietly and discreetly, setting up their power base and eliminating early stage obstacles and threats, while sending out emissaries and spies to gauge their enemies and feel out the reactions of possible future allies and governments. They have gone to great lengths to conceal their presence and plans, but when they decide the time is right and all the pieces are in place, they intend on launching a swift all-out assault on the world. And then, after the ashes clear and all of their enemies are eliminated or subservient, they will begin the process of dividing the world up among one another and implement their plans for their new global order...
