My entry for 's contest.
I draw lions when I am stressed, so I thought this would be a fun opportunity to do some designing.

So, here he is. His name is Mavuto, which means troubles/problems in Chewa. He would be Kamaria's mate and the father of Abasi and Negasi. I imagine him as not considered very attractive, but massive and intelligent, who somehow wins the heart of Kamaria. I see him as being eloquent, serious, and gruff, but a major softie for his mate and cubs. This causes him not to choose his heir, as he doesn't want to favor one son or the other.

If he doesn't win, he will either be kept or adopted out.
