Words cannot describe how long it took me to finish this comic strip. I don't even know what took me so long, but the production of this comic underwent delays, procrastinations, holds, and hiatuses.But here it is: Diago & Company's general stance on gay marriage.
Lizzy speaks out with all the firey liberal passion of a teenage youth.
Sarah tends to believe whatever the TV tells her.
Andrew tries his best to be rational.
Amanda is silently contemplative as always.
Diago answers an emotionally exploitive conservative commercial with another commercial designed to exploit an entirely different set of emotions...

You know what sucks? After gay marriage became legal in all states Texas made it illegal again and that really pisses me off. Why should they decide who we love?! And above all people keep saying gays aren't normal but I am normal!! Just make gay marriage legal in Texas again. Please?

Whoa, whoa, what?
But... marriage equality is a federal law now. That means it supersedes state law. That means Texas CAN'T legally deny marriage licenses to gay couples.
So how is it that Texas is outlawing gay marriage again? Wasn't that the POINT of the June 26 ruling... so states can't do exactly THAT? What good is the Obergefell v. Hodges ruling if states can just decide not to follow it?

I'm dying, this is too funny. It's so true too. You know all these bastards prattle on about how gays are an abomination and then fap off to lesbian porn. That is, unless they're in the closet themselves.

Yeah, I've noticed whenever people complain about homosexuality all their focus is almost exclusively focused on gay men and the forbidden buttsex as if that's all it is. The fact that there are some women out there who have sex with other women is almost never mentioned... especially when they're trying to paint gay behavior as a sin.
It's almost as if they only want to prevent men from being gay.
