Well I guess my attempt at submitted WIPs in order to motivate me to draw more isn't really working, I've just been so busy and in a really low mood that I just am not motivated to produce anything.This is a piece that I have been working on for about two months, well more like I started it two months ago, didn't do anything for two months and then finished it the other day. Not that it took two months to do. Yes I know, another Audrey Hepburn piece but this one has a purpose. I just love the one that Ikea sell but didn't love the £50 price tag so I thought I would create my own, and I did it all for under £10!
Technical details: painted on a 60 x 80 cm canvas with black acrylic paint. A few work in progress shots can be seen here: [link]

I agree with you, the one from Ikea is so lovely and the first thing which came into my head, when I saw the price, was "Ah! I'm going to do it by myself."
In the future I'll try to manage to make my own ^_^

this is really nice, it's like a stencil. Good idea on making your own, i hate how stores make everything really expensive
