This is really awesome!
I have a friend who stencils stuff. I don't know much about it, but she uses photoshop to seperate main colours into layers, then prints them and draws the shapes onto clear film paper. She ends up with about 3 different stencils for the one image, and uses a different colour for each layer. It gives it an extra dimension and looks really effective.
Im sure you would already know about this kind of technique, so I'm probably wasting my breath. But something like this would look even spiffier with that extra depth.
Great job regardless though, it's instantly recogniseable and thats a big bonus!

The resource image I used for this one was already in just black/white, only two colors. I've done plenty of multilayer stencils though.

Not the usual subject matter...Very cool nonetheless. I have to say you figured out all the 'bridges' and whatnot excellently (never heard it referred to as that).
Why is it spotted towards the bottom? Is that the camera or the paper?...

It's the flash reflecting off some of the paint. I took the picture at a looking down angle, so it's not completely whited out.

Hmm, I do have a scanner that I could use. But all my stencils are sprayed in a book, so I'm not sure how easy that would fit in the scanner.

Any flat wall I can find. There's a certain bridge over a parking lot nearby that has some nice smooth cream painted pillars under it, I might do those some night.

I can't imagine how difficult graffiti art must be because you have to, in a sense, think totally backward from what the brain is used to. (At least my brain). It reminds me of printmaking, which is difficult as well for the same reason I imagine graffiti art is. It's the whole "black is white, white is black" or "this part is covered but this will show through" kind of deal. Tough work.
