Description Who's the bear shoots through the air, like a piece of bread? Not either of these chaps.

You've heard of Bulk and Skull? Well these guys are the original and second-best. Roy Kinnear and Melvyn Hayes as Bulk and Skeleton.

Too bad Roy had died by the time Further Adventures was made... would've been nice to have had him back in Bulk's role.

In a dark, dark town there was a dark, dark street
and in the dark, dark street there was a dark, dark house,
and in the dark, dark house there were some dark, dark stairs
and down the dark, dark stairs there was a dark, dark cellar
and in the dark dark cellar….
three skeletons lived!

No, no, these aren't from Funny Bones, they're from Super Ted. You know, a teddybear who was thrown away, but brought to life by a spotty man from space and given special powers? These were the villain Tex's henchmen.

Argh... Around five years before my time. My apologies.

It's okay, they're fairly obscure, much like Bananaman and Fantastic Max.

The stuff that legends are made of - brawns and bones, apparently

I've also had the pleasure of revisiting Hayes's performance from "It ain't half hot, Mum" in recent months, so now I have a clearer understanding why he was chosen to play Skeleton

I'd actually love to see a revival of "Superted" in your style now, especially with rumours of a CGI revival floating here and there...
