must have taken ages to ink all the black, did you use a pen or was it just flood filled in PS?
I would have inked it and filled it in with photoshop because I cant really afford new pens all the time. At the mo I have a really good pen I cant afford to run out ( was a gift from NZ)

I was going to fill it in Photoshop, but in the end I wanted it to look good on the page, so I added very thick borders around everything (filling in small areas with my drawing pens) and then just went at the main black areas with a marker.
You asked on another pic what pens I use - they're just ordinary drawing pens like you get at Smiths or anywhere, size 08, 05, 03, 01 and 001 for emergencies. The best ones I've found were round, clear plastic ones from Muji (you have to actually go to a Muji store to get them though, so unless there's a local one I'd head for a stationers) - but they seem to either not be selling them at the moment, or to have cancelled the line altogether.

Oh wow, thats what a friend of mine does. I would do that but I am always insecure about ruining a pic. I am not very steady with my hands when holding a pen, I am very new to art really, only been drawing a few years and only really got into inking my pics last year.
Hmm I use pens from smith that are .05 but they dont sit right with me usually. Though I will have a look out for the pens you suggested, they might still have some in stock somewhere?
